California Smog is a family owned company in business since 1995. Our company goal is to provide our customers with the best possible customer service and honesty. Since our stations are Test Only, you always get a fair and unbiased test because we never sell any repairs. Our results are 100% honest! Our shop is spacious, so worry-free unwanted dings or scratches to your vehicle.

Here at California Smog we have zero citation from the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) shop owner and technician. We do everything possible to ensure our customers receive their smog certificate electronically and paper work for records. We have appointments available and walk in customers are welcome. We provide fast service and professionally. Our average wait time are 15 minutes per vehicle.

We certify Regular Smog, Test Only, Gold Shield Test, Gross Polluters, Initial Registration, Change of ownership, and Diesel Smog.

We provide applications for Consumer Assistance Program (CAP).

Fail Smog Check?

We may be able to help! The Bureau of Automotive Repair’s Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) provides assistance to qualified consumers whose vehicle fails its biennial (every other year) Smog Check inspection.

There are 3 options:

1: Vehicle Retirement: Sell your vehicle to the State instead of repairing it. The vehicle will be retired at a State-approved dismantler. Qualified vehicle owners can receive $1,000.00 to retire their high-polluting vehicles.

2: Repair Assistance: Receive financial help for emissions-related repairs. To qualify you must: Meet certain household income requirements. Qualified vehicle owners can receive $500.00 toward the cost of repairs to pass smog check. (Co-payment of $20.00 require).

3: Repair Cost Waivers: Temporarily register your vehicle for up to two years without it passing a Smog Check inspection. To qualify, you must spend at least $450.00 on emissions-related repairs at a licensed Smog Check station.
